The Speakeasy Language House was founded by Elizabeth in 2017 as a means to fulfill her international aspirations here in town.  The Enos Park location is a perfect fit for the three C’s: community, culture, and communication.  The intention of SLH is to facilitate intercultural communication.  Elizabeth believes that with communication comes better understanding which ultimately leads to a more peaceful world.

 

Currently, the Speakeasy Language House offers communicative language classes in both Spanish and French.  In her classroom, students learn through experience much like a child- through listening, speaking, and doing.  Also, cultural dinners held at the house provide the perfect setting to meet people from around the world while enjoying gourmet food.
